A facile approach to polysubstituted pyrazoles from hydrazonyl chlorides and vinyl azides

A novel and facile approach to polysubstituted pyrazoles from readily synthesized hydrazonyl chlorides and vinyl azides was developed. The reaction was regiospecific and proceeded under mild conditions in the presence of base.
