New tubular products from calixarene-cyclodextrin coupling

The direct coupling via succinyl-diamide links of a difunctionalised cyclodextrin (CD) to di- and tetra-functionalised calix[4]arene-crown-6 (CAL) leads to tubular calixarene-cyclodextrin species. The product structures were characterised by high resolution 1H and 13C NMR and MALDI-TOF spectroscopies.
