Rh2(OAc)4 catalyzed formation of fluorine-containing polysubstituted furans from diazocompounds and aromatic alkynes

A new building block strategy for the synthesis of fluorine-containing 1,2,4-trisubstituted furan was reported. The 1,2,4-trisubstituted furan was constructed through [3+2] cycloaddition reaction of fluoroacetyl-containing diazocompound and aromatic alkyne, catalyzed by Rh2(OAc)4.
