A unified synthetic approach to trachylobane-, beyerane-, atisane- and kaurane-type diterpenes

A stereoselective general synthetic approach to trachylobane-, beyerane-, atisane- and kaurane-type diterpenoids in both enantiomeric series, starting from (S)- or (R)-carvone, is described.
