Towards highly powerful neutral organic superacids-a DFT study of some polycyano derivatives of planar hydrocarbons

Keteneimine tautomers of heptacyanoindene, nonacyanocyclopentaphenanthrene and nonacyano-1H-phenalene are powerful organic superacids in the gas-phase and DMSO as revealed by DFT calculations.
