Synthesis and utilisation of 2,7′-diindolylmethanes and a 2-(2-indolyl)pyrrolylmethane as macrocyclic precursors

Synthetic strategies for the synthesis of asymmetric diindolylmethanes and a novel indolylpyrrolylmethane are described, in addition to the structural characterisation of an unusual triindolyl oligomer.
