A tunable route to oxidative and eliminative [3+2] cycloadditions of organic azides with nitroolefins: CuO nanoparticles catalyzed synthesis of 1,2,3-triazoles under solvent-free condition

A tunable approach to the oxidative and eliminative cycloadditions of nitroolefins with organic azides are demonstrated under solvent free condition. A series of 1,5-disubstituted-1,2,3-triazoles with/without nitro group have been synthesized from moderate to excellent yields.
