Experimental design of the microwave assisted synthesis of the poly(vinyl phenylthionecarbamate)

The microwave assisted solvent-free functionalization of poly(vinyl alcohol) with phenyl isothiocyanate was performed and studied by a 22 experimental design. The estimated activation energy was 40.43 kJ/mol.
