Stereochemical aspects of the chemistry of 2-[trialkyl(aryl)silyloxy]alkyl-4-alkoxyalk-2-enylstannanes

The stereoselective synthesis of (Z)-2-[trialkyl(aryl)silyloxy]alkyl-4-alkoxyalk-2-enylstannanes and their tin(IV) chloride mediated reactions with aldehydes are reported.
