An InCl3 catalyzed facile one-pot synthesis of novel dispiro[cyclopent-3′-ene]bisoxindoles

An InCl3 catalyzed efficient synthesis of novel dispiro[cyclopent-3′-ene]bisoxindoles is accomplished via a one-pot reductive cyclization of isatylidene malononitriles using the Hantzsch ester.
