Synthesis of vinyloxazolidinones by palladium-catalyzed CO2-recycling reaction of 4-(benzylamino)-2-butenyl carbonates

A CO2-recycling reaction using (E)-4-(benzylamino)-2-butenyl methyl carbonates has been examined and substituted vinyloxazolidinones were obtained via a CO2 fixation-elimination process, carried out in the presence of palladium catalyst with DBU.
