Reduction of sulfoxides catalyzed by oxo-complexes

The two novel catalytic systems PhSiH3/HReO4 (5 mol %) and HBcat /HReO4 (5 mol %) proved to be highly efficient and chemoselective for the reduction of sulfoxides at room temperature.
