Base-catalyzed domino reaction toward 3-benzylidenecyclohexenes: DBU-promoted sequential Michael, aldol, dehydration, and dealkoxycarbonylation

3-Benzylidenecyclohexene derivatives were prepared starting from the Baylis-Hillman adducts by using DBU-promoted domino process involving Michael, aldol, dehydration, and dealkoxycarbonylation.
