Microwave-assisted synthesis of (η6-arene)tricarbonylchromium complexes

We have undertaken a study of the microwave-assisted synthesis of (η6-arene)tricarbonylchromium complexes. Under microwave irradiation, the reactions of hexacarbonylchromium with arenes gave high yields of (η6-arene)chromium tricarbonyl complexes.
