Cyclodextrin-grafted electrospun cellulose acetate nanofibers via “Click” reaction for removal of phenanthrene

- The surface of CA nanofibers was modified with β-CD by click reaction.
- The nanofibrous structure of CA mat was still protected after β-CD grafting.
- The molecular filtration performance of CA and CA-CD nanofibers were tested.
- CD-CA nanofibers have shown better removal of phenanthrene from their aqueous solution.
