On sol-gel derived Au-enriched TiO2 and TiO2-ZrO2 photocatalysts and their investigation in photocatalytic reduction of carbon dioxide

- Au/TiO2-ZrO2 was examined in CO2 photocatalytic reduction for the first time.
- Decreased activity of Au-enriched photocatalysts due to large Au crystallite size.
- Correlation between the adsorption edge and the anatase crystallite size was revealed.
- Dependence of the products yields on the anatase crystallite size was observed.
- The key effect of used lamp on the photocatalytic activity was proved.
