Structures of AgPd nanoclusters adsorbed on MgO(100): A computational study

► Polyicosahedral structures stabilized by the interaction with the substrate at small sizes. ► Competition between decahedral and fcc(100) structures up to 400 atoms at least. ► Possible crossover to fcc(111) structures for larger sizes.
