The polycrystalline 0.94BaTiO3-0.06(Bi0.5Na0.5)TiO3-0.2Bi(Mg0.5Zr0.5)O3-xBa(Fe0.5Nb0.5)O3 (0.94BT-0.06BNT-0.2BMZ-xBFN) (x = 0-0.125) ceramics are fabricated via a conventional solid state reaction method. A continuous progressive decline in εrmax with increasing x leads to near temperature-stable dielectric properties over a wide temperature range. It was demonstrated that the dielectric temperature stability of BT based ceramics can be improved effectively with increasing x. Stability in values of relative permittivity over a wide temperature range was demonstrated for x = 0.1, with εr = 850 ± 15% over the temperature range ≤−45.01-250.15 °C, and tanδ ≤ 0.02 from 37 °C to 120 °C.
