A stretchable dual nanocomposite hydrogel was reinforced by covalently bonded Laponite and SiO2, and physical interaction of polymer chains with the inorganic hybrid crosslinker. The interaction between monomer and inorganic hybrid crosslinker acted an important role in the hydrogel toughness.126
