Perspectivas y retos en factores humanos e ingeniería de sistemas en ambientes médicos complejos

The following work makes manifest the intention to include human factors and systems engineering as the basis of patient safety in medical environments, special emphasis is placed on those who by their characteristic complex require a high specialization of its flows work and efficient use of information technology to complement their care process (it has special reference to the Colombian intensive care unit); for this the state of the art is performed in depth in these complex environments where challenges are set, the metrics are confronted and a future projection is made, for quality of care and patient safety.
