A novel pilot animal model for the surgical prevention of lymphedema: the power of optical imaging

We describe the first animal model for LYMPHA, which will enable future studies to further evaluate the efficacy and potential limitations of this technique. Of equal importance, we demonstrate the power of optical imaging to provide real-time lymphatic clearance rates for each hind limb.
