Numerical investigation on non-steady-state filtration of elliptical fibers for submicron particles in the ''Greenfield gap'' range

The growth process of the sub-micron particle dendrites and the dynamic evolution processes of both pressure drop and collection efficiency of elliptical fibers with the increase of deposit mass are investigated using a 3D lattice Boltzmann-cellular automata (LB-CA) probabilistic model.181
