A note on Cartan's second main theorem for holomorphic curve intersecting hypersurface

In this paper, we establish a second main theorem for holomorphic curve intersecting hypersurfaces in projective space with level of truncation and give some applications. Furthermore, we show that the defect relation in Ru's result [7] may be improved for some special divisors.
