Evaluation of nonterminating F23(34)-series

By means of the modified Abel lemma on summation by parts, we examine a nonterminating F23(34)-series and establish two transformation theorems. Several summation formulae are derived as consequences, including those discovered by Andrews (1974) [1], Gosper (1977) [12] and Gessel-Stanton (1982) [11].
