Utilization of LPG and gasoline engine exhaust emissions by microalgae

► Real effects of LPG/GSN exhaust emissions on microalgae were tested. ► TRIA and SA were improved reduction efficiency of emissions and microalgal growth. ► Both of the microalgal cultures showed higher growth rates at GSN than LPG. ► Maximum dry weight after 15th days was 1.331 g/L for Phormidium sp. under the GSN. ► Maximum dry weight of Chlorella sp. after 15th days was 1.636 g/L under the GSN.
