Heavy metal characterization of circulating fluidized bed derived biomass ash

► Most heavy metals are enriched in the cyclone ash. ► The residence time and high temperature diffusion induce heavy metal enrichment. ► The physical adsorption also contributes to heavy metal enrichment. ► No serious leaching character was detected under the EN conditions. ► The ash samples showed serious leaching characters under the HJ/T 300 conditions.
