Modified granulation of red mud by weak gelling and its application to stabilization of Pb

► It is a new modification of red muds to be granulated under weak gelling conditions. ► Drastically increase in soil pH was controlled using these coated particles. ► Consistent restoration was improved by application of modified red mud particle. ► This modification is a positive foundation of utilization of red mud.
