Evolution of natural organic matter by size exclusion chromatography during photocatalytic degradation by solvothermal-synthesized titanium dioxide

► Nano-titanium dioxide was obtained by the sol-gel and the solvothermal methods. ► The differences of TiO2 properties did not affect the selectivity of NOM removal. ► The larger molecules of NOM are degraded into medium and smaller molecules. ► The differences of TiO2 properties did affect the efficiency of NOM degradation.
