Adsorptive removal of naproxen and clofibric acid from water using metal-organic frameworks

► Metal-organic frameworks were used for the first time to remove PPCPs by adsorption. ► MOFs can be used in the adsorptive removal because of high porosity and wide pore. ► The adsorption mechanism may be explained with a simple electrostatic interactions.
