Applying the Triad method in a risk assessment of a former surface treatment and metal industry site

► The Triad method was used for ecological risk assessment of a metal contaminated site. ► The integrated risk was calculated from three lines of evidence; chemistry, toxicology and ecology. ► The Triad was considered appropriate for conducting improved ecological risk assessments.
