Influence of saliva, gastric and intestinal phases on the prediction of As relative bioavailability using the Unified Bioaccessibility Research Group of Europe Method (UBM)

► Arsenic bioaccessibility in contaminated soil was assessed using the UBM and compared to in vivo As relative bioavailability. ► The UBM incorporating S-G-I phases provided the best in vivo-in vitro correlation. ► However, there was no significant difference in R2 nor the slope of the lines when other phases were utilised.
