Elecrokinetic separation of sulphate and lead from sludge of spent lead acid battery

► The cost escalation of the petroleum has necessitated the policy makers to develop pollution free and cost effective technology for the recovery of lead. ► The present process is an ambient temperature process does not emit pollutants into soil/air. ► As this attempt is to develop eco-friendly technology this study has been initiated in our lab and results are presented here.
