Omega-3 fatty acid-derived mediator, Resolvin E1, ameliorates 2,4-dinitrofluorobenzene-induced atopic dermatitis in NC/Nga mice

► RvE1 suppresses the development of atopic dermatitis (AD)-like skin lesions in DNFB-treated NC/Nga mice. ► RvE1 reduced IL-4 and IFN-γ production of activated CD4+ T cells. ► RvE1 reduces serum IgE levels in DNFB-treated NC/Nga mice. ► RvE1 reduced infiltration of immune cells to DNFB-treated skin lesion.
