The effect of nano-silver on the activation of nasal polyp epithelial cells by Alternaria, Der P1 and staphylococcal enterotoxin B

► We try to clarify the anti-inflammatory effect of nano-silver on nasal epithelial cell inflammation. ► At safe concentration nano-silver inhibited SEB and Der P1 induced cytokine production and inhibited expression and activation of NF-κB. ► Suggest a novel pharmacological approach for treatment of airway inflammatory and/or immunological disease.
