Anti-inflammatory effect of IMMLG5521, a coumarin derivative, on Sephadex-induced lung inflammation in rats

► The effect of compound IMMLG5521, a coumarin derivative, was studied on Sephadex-induced lung inflammation in rats. ► Compound IMMLG5521 inhibited granulomas and infiltration of neutrophils and eosinophils. ► Compound IMMLG5521 decreased TNF-α level in BALF and lung tissue. ► Compound IMMLG5521 decreased VCAM-1 and ICAM-1 expressions in lung tissue.
