Dendrobium officinale polysaccharides ameliorate the abnormality of aquaporin 5, pro-inflammatory cytokines and inhibit apoptosis in the experimental Sjögren's syndrome mice

► We evaluated the pathological features of Sjogren's syndrome (SS) mice model. ► D. officinale polysaccharides suppressed the disorder derived from SS model. ► D. officinale polysaccharides rescued the aquaporin-5 inhibition by TNF-α in vitro.
