Effects of taurochenodeoxycholic acid on adjuvant arthritis in rats

► As one of main bioactive substances dissociated from chicken bile, TCDCA confered good anti-adjuvant arthritis activity. ► TCDCA suppressed synoviocytes proliferation from adjuvant arthritis rat in a concentration ranging from 0 µg/mL to 1000 µg/mL. ► TCDCA showed inhibition of the protein and mRNA expression of TNF-α, IL-1β and IL-6, and augment of IL-10.
