Occurrence of fumonisins in organic and conventional cereal-based products commercialized in France, Germany and Spain

► A fast and easy IAC-HPLC-MS/MS method allowed fumonisins to be quantified. ► Organic products showed higher incidence of fumonisins than conventional products. ► Latitude and climatic conditions are an important factor for producing fumonisins. ► Occurrence of fumonisins in Spain was higher than France and German.
