Age as prognostic factor in patients with osteosarcoma

► We study the relevance of age as prognostic factor in survival of osteosarcoma-patients. ► Younger patients showed an increased survival due to more intensified treatment regimens. ► Older patients suffered more treatment-related toxicity and showed decreased survival rates. ► This study shows the prognostic significance of age among patients with osteosarcoma.
