Normalized volume of interest selection and measurement of bone volume in MicroCT scans

► We describe a method to select normalized volumes of interest in MicroCT scans. ► We describe how to render normalized cross-sections for comparison between scans. ► We show how to measure bone volumes of the selected VOIs. ► We show that we can quantify biologically relevant differences with this method. ► We show how this method compares to radiographic analysis.
