► We have examined the prevalence of HBV infection in suspected population of conflict-affected area of war against terrorism of Pakistan. ► We have seen a high prevalence of HBV infection in the study area. ► If medical facilities especially HBV vaccination and awareness programs were not lunched immediately, this prevalence may increase to an alarming rates.
