Sequencing of the β-tubulin genes in the ascarid nematodes Parascaris equorum and Ascaridia galli

- The β-tubulin genes, isotype 1 and isotype 2, of P. equorum were sequenced.
- The β-tubulin gene isotype 1 of A. galli was sequenced.
- No single SNP were detected in the codon 167, 198 and 200 of the β-tubulin genes.
- The relationships of β-tubulin genes are more complex in nematodes than in vertebrates.
