Electrochemical characterization of redox polymer modified electrode developed for monitoring of adenine

► Fast, easy and simple preparation of the modified surfaces was performed. ► The electrochemical signal of adenine was obtained at low potential. ► Good sensitivity was obtained. ► The electrodes were very selective in the presence of guanine and uric acid.
