Poly(Patton and Reeder's reagent) modified carbon paste electrode for the sensitive detection of acetaminophen in biological fluid and pharmaceutical formulations

► Poly(Patton and Reeder's reagent) improves redox kinetics of acetaminophen. ► Presence of MWCNT in the matrix declines the voltammetric response. ► Accurate determination of acetaminophen even at 1000-fold excess of 4-aminophenol. ► Simple, stable, cheap, reproducible and does not require pre treatment of bio-sample. ► Successful estimation of acetaminophen in tablets and blood serum.
