A theoretical method to determine unstressed off-rate from multiple bond force spectroscopy

► Monte Carlo simulation of the rupture of multiple bonds between two beads is performed. ► We introduce a methodology to extract off-rate from multiple bond force spectroscopy. ► The methodology is tested extensively using both Bell and Dembo models. ► The precision for off-rate determination increases with the number of bonds.
