Bone cell activity responsive drug release from biodegradable apatite/collagen nano-composite cements-In vitro dissolution medium responsive vitamin K2 release

► The collagen/apatite composite cement showed significant dissolution medium-responsive drug release in SOB and SOC. ► The phenomena might be related with bone cells activity responsive-drug release from the cement device, since the in vitro drug release experiments were considered to a physicochemical model of bone matrices remodeling by osteoblast and osteoclast cells.
