Vertebral landmarks for the identification of spinal cord segments in the mouse

► We present a MR image set of the entire mouse vertebral column and spinal cord. ► The boundaries of each spinal cord segment have been identified in coronal MR images. ► The vertebral bony landmarks related to each spinal cord segment are shown. ► The spinal cord segment ventral to a given vertebral spine can be identified.
