Simvastatin-loaded porous implant surfaces stimulate preosteoblasts differentiation: an in vitro study

These results indicate that simvastatin-loaded porous implant surfaces promote accelerated osteogenic differentiation of preosteoblasts, which have the potential to improve the nature of osseointegration.
