Osteoarthritis year 2012 in review: imaging

The 6 months since the last OARSI conference were characterized by several MRI-based studies dealing with epidemiologic and methodologic aspects of disease. Other modalities such as radiography or ultrasound received much less attention. Most imaging research is still concentrated on the knee although interest in other sites, especially the hand, has increased since the last OARSI meeting.
