Removal of rhodamine B and Cr(VI) from aqueous solutions by a polyoxometalate adsorbent

A polyoxometalates (POMs) framework [Ni(bipy)2]2(HPW12O40) (NPW) was synthesized with a facile chemical coprecipitation method. The obtained materials were characterized by BET, elemental analysis, XRD, TGA, SEM and FTIR. The results show that the adsorbent performed great capability in adsorbing RhB.
